Dreamweaver’s TheaterRegister Here
In Dreamweaver’s Theater kids become part of the creative process and explore and create new works of their very own. They do this in an atmosphere where they are encouraged to be involved in the many jobs that are a part of the art of musical theater. Students improvise from the bones of a story, learn how scripts are structured and use elements from their improvisations, both acting and musical, in the script and songs. The goal is to help them to all feel that they have equally important roles to play. They will also learn about set design, costumes, props, makeup and masks, poster art and programs, ticket sales and how these things fit into musical theater production. This is a full-year program with a Fall presentation of student projects and a culminating performance of their production in the Spring.
