FINANCIAL AID

The following information is provided to assist students, parents, and faculty in understanding the Financial Aid policies of AA-SPA. The Financial Aid students may use the payment plan, but failure to make payments will result in rescission of Financial Aid. Even though Financial Aid is limited, AA-SPA will make every effort to assist the students who have financial difficulties and would not be able to study at AA-SPA without a financial assistance. AA-SPA doesn’t usually award full scholarships. The range of scholarship assistance will be usually between 10 % and 80% of the total tuition for the qualified students. Please take this in consideration when you decide on the lesson/classes options.

TUITION ASSISTANCE AWARD POLICIES

For priority consideration, applications for Financial Aid must be submitted no later than August 17th for the following academic year. After this date, applications will be considered on a rolling basis as funds allow. Any increase in lesson time or number of lessons will not necessarily result in a proportionate increase in the award. A student who withdraws prior to the completion of a semester will not receive credit on his/her Financial Aid for subsequent enrollment. The acceptance of the Financial Aid from AA-SPA carries with it an obligation on the part of the student to attend lessons/classes on a regular basis and to work diligently on making progress in his/her areas of study. It is also expected that students and parents will interact in an appropriate manner with staff and faculty. The receipt of assistance does not guarantee assistance in the future. All Financial Aid students will be required to submit a signed Financial Aid contract to indicate acceptance of their Financial Aid award. Scholarship recipients are expected to participate in the annual Practice-A-Thon.
