Part-Time Guitar Instructor Position

The Ann Arbor School for the Performing Arts is seeking a guitar instructor starting immediately. Saturday teaching availability is highly desirable.

Candidates should have experience teaching students of all ages with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds in both private and group class settings. Ideally, candidates should have a strong classical background with a minimum of a Masters degree in music performance or equivalent experience is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable teaching a wide variety of musical styles, including blues, jazz, and other popular guitar styles.

Part-Time Piano Instructor and Suzuki Piano Instructor Positions

The Ann Arbor School for the Performing Arts is seeking a Piano instructor and a Suzuki Piano instructor starting immediately. Saturday teaching availability is highly desirable.

Candidates should be extremely organized and have experience teaching students of all ages with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds in both private and group class settings. Candidates should have a strong classical background with a minimum of a Masters Degree in music performance or equivalent experience is preferred.

Development and Marketing Intern (unpaid)

Internship Description:  The development intern will work directly with the executive director on projects to assist with many fundraising and marketing activities. In addition to learning the basic operations of the School and providing administrative support to the department, the intern will be able to work on specific projects in the areas of: special events, grants, prospect research, donation, processing and event/concert management.
