There are three ways you can register:

1. Mail in the registration form with your payment for tuition and registration no later than one week prior to the start of a class or ensemble. A consultation is required for private instruction and an audition is required for many ensembles.
2. Bring your registration form and payment for tuition and registration to the AA-SPA School Office at Concordia University.
3. Fax (995-7503) if paying with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

You may phone your registration to the School (995-4625), but during busy times of year, you may be delayed, and will still have to turn in a signed registration form.

Registration Fee

Each student pays $40 per year to enroll at AA-SPA. This fee covers the registration for the year, regardless of the number of private lessons, classes or ensembles. To help families with more than one AA-SPA student, the registration fee is only $25 for each additional student in the same family.

Payment Schedule

Registration fees and full tuition payments are due at the beginning of each semester and may be made by Visa, Mastercard, Discover or by check. If necessary, payments can be arranged in three installments. You will be charged a $10.00 set-up fee and a carrying fee of 2% per month on all unpaid balances. Please call Business Manager, Cynthia Grindstaff at 995-4625 to discuss this option. ALL BALANCES MUST BE SATISFIED BY THE CONCLUSION OF EACH SEMESTER AND BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THE NEXT SEMESTER IF A STUDENT IS TO CONTINUE WITH LESSONS OR ENSEMBLES. AA-SPA reserves the right to dismiss students for delinquent balances. Balances that are not paid past the conclusion of a semester may be referred to an outside collection agency. If the bank returns a check payment, a $30 Insufficient Funds charge will be added to the invoice.

Early Bird Advantage

If you pay your invoice in full before September 5, 2006, you may deduct $10. There is no early bird discount for Spring and Summer semesters.

Accent-Plus Discount & Certificate

A comprehensive music education is not just a series of weekly lessons. The ACCENT-PLUS discount is meant to encourage enrollment in offerings that contribute to an individual’s total music education. For example, if a student is a member of the Youth Symphony Orchestra and is also enrolled in individual instruction, the value added to musicianship is more than the sum of the two! The ACCENT-PLUS discount reduces the total tuition of two complementary offerings in which one individual has enrolled by 10%! The ACCENT-PLUS discount does not include the registration fee enrollments.

Family Allowance

If two or more family members are enrolled at AA-SPA, the less expensive invoice(s) will be reduced by 10%. After the first family member has paid the $40 registration fee, other family members will pay a $25 registration fee.
